When I bought Microsoft Publisher 2007, I had hoped to get a feature that was in an earlier (1995?) version of Publisher or Word that rated the level of the document written as "High School", "College", etc. and suggested editing directions. Unfortunately that feature is not part of Publisher 2007 and I am not all together sure what I will be able to use it as I wrote my first book with all the normal book items, like table of contents, chapter titles, etc, already in it. I will know more when I get time to learn the ins and outs of Pub 2007.

The item had a problem loading and I assumed it was the product, but I am not certain. What I AM unhappy about is the shipping time. When I purchased, there was one in stock, with a "ship in one day" offer. Well, it didn't ship until 8 days later and I got it 5 days after that. I looked again at the site to see if I misunderstood the offer and there, in teeny tiny print, was a disclaimer.....bad Amazon!!
I was anxious to receive it to get client work completed and then had to wait 14 days, plus it didn't work, had to return and purchase locally just to get the work done. Not a happy camper.

Publisher is Word but much easier to use and with way more options. You can create anything and it is very easy to learn.

JUST THE WRITE PROGRAM Dec 01, 2009
For those of us who do lots of writing and want to jazz it up with graphics, Publisher is just the "write" product. It makes it easy to create attractive layouts which grab readers' attention. The price of this program, purchased below cost from Amazon, is well worth it for those of us working with the written word.
